Another book cover for Polish publisher "Fabryka Slow". Done entirely in Photoshop whit few references used. Main battle was with anatomy in this twisted perspective. I couldn't find any direct reference for that so I had to put few pieces together to make it look right

Another book cover for "Fabryka Slow". A little post nuclear greetings for our military saviours :]
Base composition was done on simple 3d model, background buildings are matte painting of actual Wroclaw buildings (where events in book are taking place) but mostly illustration is painted by hand in Photoshop

I tried to tell a little more story with this picure so there are few elements that you can spot and connect into a nice storyline

Another book cover I did for Fabryka Slow. Drawing against artistic block is never fun yet - you have job to do. And that's the story with that picture. I did like 6 different versions and still I'm not completely happy about it, but I had to finish it due to deadline. Few photo mix used in texturing background and flame effect

A fanart of Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft. I was very fond of that character when I was playing BroodWars years ago, so now that she is back I decided to pay a little tribute to her. Whole character including modeling, texturing and lightning was done in Zbrush3 (i just got it weak ago and its sort of brilliant ). I used good old Photoshop for some final composing, adding simple background, eyebrows, detailing eyes, few light and shadow fixes and overall postproduction
Here are couple of close ups 1:1 ratio



This is my first work in 3d so if something is wrong just tell me and I'll try to fix it next time :]

My entry for CGTalk challenge "EON:Worlds within worlds". basically it was about creating illustration for featured book "EON".
For me Greg's Bear book is all about finding your way home. Under all of this sci-fi technology future plot is a basic need for everyone to find their own place in life. And so I wanted to capture that emotional massage in my picture, don't know if I was successful but i tried :]

Photoshop and a little bit of 3d studio for basic Axis City shape ;] few photoreferences for clouds - overal around 35h of work

Dont let your eyes fool you - thats no angel. When aliens decided to invade us - they knew what they are doing. They came as holy createures to rain panic among our troops. And they succeeded. Picture is showing one of the first battles that took place in Israel. Angelic squads literally wiped out first response teams. With bioactvie liquid armour and plasma nanofibers our troops were no match for them. And so prophecy came true... the end of days from heaven... has come...
